Around 100 young scientists participated in the event providing an exciting mixture of scientific courses given by PIs of our network (Karsten Borgwardt, Bertram Müller-Myhsok, Tal El-Hay, Krista Fischer, Volker Tresp and Tobias Heimann), talks on recent research results by renowned experts in the field (Lili Milani, María Rodríguez Martínez, Nikolaus Rajewsky and Lena Maier-Hein) and complimentary skills courses (Heinz Stockinger, Bernice Elger, Regina Grossmann and Kristel Van Steen).
The slides and further information are available on the event webpage: https://mlfpm.eu/1-summer-school/ Moreover, videos of most talks will be made available on http://videolectures.net.
We were very happy to provide full scholarships (covering travel expenses, accommodation and registration fee) for three researchers with refugee status.
Thanks to all participants!
We are looking forward to the second edition that will take place in September 2020 in Liège, Belgium.
